These things are great! I do Taekwon-do and got these for target practice. Obviously if someone is wearing these you want to be careful how hard you are hitting them (and pay attention to where their elbow is bending), esp. with kicks, but they are super flexible and easy target pads.At first I thought they went on a particular hand, but I don’t think it matters. In fact, I was able to get them to work putting my hand in palm down and palm up (for downward kicks where you want the arm to be able to bend down). The gel is really nice. It’s not so bad getting hit, and it’s great to strike. They also don’t get super sweaty for the person wearing them. The only thing to be aware of is they ARE curved. That means you are not hitting a flat surface. This throws off forging for certain tools, although we got around this by aiming for the top of the target instead, which is relatively flat.As far as target pads go, these are about a normal price range, and so far seem to be worth it. We’ll see how they hold up!
