Works, improved reception.
My 2013 Ram has an Alpine Premium sound system, reception was always below average. Decided to add this antenna booster as the 8.4" radio in the Rams has a Fakra connector for the radio antenna. I immediately noticed stations were coming that I hadn't been able to get before, and the HD radio was more stable in some areas. I think this would improve my reception by about 30-40% and I have a truck antenna that is 1/2 the height of the standard antenna with better reception. The Fakra plug connections on this antenna amplifier are Fakra universal plugs, i.e. plug and play. All you have to do is connect it to the radio, connect the antenna and then connect the blue wire to a positive power source when the car is running. Simple and helpful reception.
