I received this product today and have used it to make hash browns. I think it takes some practice to get it working properly. It took me 30 minutes to make 3 potatoes, maybe a little longer because I managed to hurt my wrist. I always got mashed potatoes with the first potato. I think it's because it wasn't peeled and stuck to the skin. After peeling the other two potatoes, I got better results, although the whole time I was struggling to hold the potato while cutting, which resulted in my tiny injury. I found using a fork to hold them helped. It's very sharp and hopefully stays that way for a while. I'll keep using it, I'm curious to see how it works with zucchini and carrots and I think I'll get better results with it.
