I've been using this HDMI switch for a few months now and am really happy with it. I really like the automatic search function. I didn't notice any input lag, audio lag, or degradation in image quality. I use it to switch between Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS3 and Wii U (no pun intended) and have never had a problem. As far as I know, the product is of excellent quality! In addition, durability is important. I bought it in November 2017 and published the first part of this review (above) in February 2018. It is now June 2018 and the device is still working great after a good 6-7 months. Many of these types of devices receive negative reviews, since they don't work that long. Personal experience, this thing is still alive and well worth mentioning as you want your $50 investment to last as long as possible. Well, admittedly, 7 months isn't that long on a grand scale. But some other devices like this, some report that they won't even last 3 months. I've been using mine regularly for the past 7 months and have had no problems to report from my side. Still the same quality and reliable product as when I first checked. My only problem is that I need another one! Too many devices. In June 2018 I bought a second Awakeion 5x1 HDMI switch for my setup. I currently have 8 HDMI devices in my system so 1 5x1 wasn't enough. I use both - the first is on HDMI1 on my TV, and the second is on HDMI2 because unfortunately my TV only has 2 HDMI ports. The second works just as well as the first for several months, and the nice thing is that both can be controlled with one remote instead of two - one for each device. I highly recommend this product - buying two of these should say something! In July 2019 I bought 2 of these - one in 2017 and one in 2018. It is now 2019 and both are still in my install and both are working. perfect. Since then I've adapted even more HDMI devices and I have almost all 10 ports between the two switches I use and they all work great. I don't use a switch for 4K passthrough, I bypass and go straight from my Xbox One X to my 4K TV for 4K quality so I can't tell if 4K is good or not via the switch, although other reviews say it works well. In terms of build quality and durability, the $100 I paid for two switches was very well spent and I cannot recommend this product enough.
