In the last year I have switched from regular cotton pillowcases to satin pillowcases. I'm getting old enough to admit that I'm getting older and need to start taking care of my skin and hair seriously. I took the plunge to purchase this silk pillowcase and I am so glad I did. From the packaging I could feel the difference between my satin and this silk, it was a little softer and much cooler. I have a very thick memory foam pillow and while swaying a bit I put the pillowcase on and the pillow filled it out nicely. I like the zip pocket. I'll never understand if they don't have it. Even the envelope body I've encountered will shift and slide off with the smooth and slippery texture of a pillowcase. The zipper closes smoothly, doesn't stick, which is great. This pillowcase feels cool, even after lying down, it gets cold again after a few seconds. I have fine hair that can get frizzy and wakes up from sleep with very little frizz and a headache. Crazy how much better my hair looks. I no longer look crazy when I wake up. I am very impressed with the quality and will be buying more for my daughter's pillows. * I base my purchases on customer reviews.
