Review on STANLEY BC15BS Automatic Maintainer Alternator by Scott Spoja

I'm still trying to figure out if this thing is too smart for its own benefit or if it's just a piece of junk. I'm pretty sure it's the last one. It goes into "floating" mode all the time. I saw other reviews saying the same thing but figured it was just coincidence. It is not. I called Stanley support and they said it was because the battery was less than 3 volts and the charger didn't recognize the battery. This would be an acceptable answer, but the charger is showing battery voltage above 12 volts and still not charging. This isn't the only problem. I tried for 30 minutes to use the engine start function to start a dead battery in my car. It was a particularly cold morning and I could tell he just needed a little nudge to get going. Finally, I decided to try the Jump Box portable battery. The thing is, it's the size of my hand, but I was still able to start the car on the first try. The thing is worth nothing! look elsewhere
