Wow! I've racked my brains and scoured the internet to find a solution to this goddamn hum/hum from my Audiotechnica LP-60 turntable to the phono input of my Yamaha receiver. I've been using cheap extension cords and thought it was a grounding issue, but this turntable needs to be grounded internally so I had no idea what the problem was. Bought two of these baddies and BAM fixed the hum problem! Ah, now pure audio heaven! Be sure to buy two and mark them red/white so you don't get confused which is which. highly recommended!
