Simple and reliable
After using the "fancy" hour meter (with buttons and battery) I replaced it with this one that doesn't require a battery and measures generator run time when the generator is off and measures the RPM with the generator off works. That's all I needed and I was glad to find it. There are many similar or identical units out there, but take the one labeled "Speedometer/Hourmeter".
