I have hardwood floors and a dog that sheds A LOT! I find the XLarge sweeper and replacement heads to be the best I've found for picking up pet hair and floor dust. I use it daily and also in preparation for a more thorough cleansing/drying. It's quick and easy to use. Especially the XLarge size. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't pick up solids from the bottom. At least it will be postponed. You can pile it up and then sweep it up after discarding the fabric. I believe that swiffer has launched a product that combines the action of a vacuum cleaner with a magnetic cloth. It should be interesting to try. PS I also use this to remove dust from electronics and furniture.
