I've had this model before. It took 8 years for her to die. He ran hot and did a great job. This new model is lighter and looks a lot cheaper. The filter cap will not stay in place no matter what. It blows a lot of air but never gets hot enough to dry and curl my hair with my round brushes like the previous one did. It also has a high level of noise that is unacceptable to the ears. This is the second Babyliss dryer I've tried replacing the previous one and it has the same issues. Other than another surrogate, I recently passed away in just 3 months. I've done everything with Babyliss. They no longer make quality dryers.
