Planning a bake that required precise cooking times and wanted to test my 30 year old electric oven. I did a basic test with two newly purchased oven thermometers mounted on the center shelf. At 150F on my oven I got 192F and 190F on thermometers. At 250F in my oven I got 250F and 248F. At 350 in the oven I got 349F and 346F. At 450F in the oven I got 425F and 424F on thermometers. At 500F in my oven I got 460F and 458F. The thermometers matched well at all temperatures, but my oven only seems to be accurate between 250F and 350F. Very happy with these economical thermometers. My only suggestion is to make the dials a little more legible.
