Review on INVIROX Dog Training Collar 2022 by Mary Hall

Very easy to use and works

I work as a dog handler for a three letter agency. We don't use electronic collars on our working dogs but I decided to try them on my son's Australian Shepherd. Well, my son's former dog, and now she appears to be my dog. This is a very independent, dominant dog who will not behave unless kept on a leash at all times. We bought her as a puppy a few months before quarantine, she is not very used to strangers and loves to bark. Setting up was pretty easy. I went through the installation guide and manual and found both to be surprisingly well written. The first time I charged both the caller and the controller overnight. The charge lasts forever! like weeks. Very impressed with the battery life. Fast forward to the first training session with the little spawn of Satan. When the caller was properly fitted, she barely noticed it was on. I used rubber prongs for their comfort. The controller is pretty easy to use. There is a button for sound alert, vibration and shock. I took her outside to my fenced yard and started playing with her favorite ball. She is quite possessive and it is usually very difficult to get the ball off the leash. Gave her an exit command, waited 1 second, then hit the beep. She threw the ball instinctively. Wow, progress. After 3 days, after a few vibrations and once she had to use the shock on the lowest level, now she can off the leash and I can remember her quite confidently. The most important step that most people skip. Training a dog requires patience, which this product should not ignore. It's not cruel if used properly. I would much rather my dog experience a little discomfort than break free and get hit by a car or scared of biting a stranger. Overall, I award 5 stars for the excellent price-performance ratio.
