These were the perfect lamps for our room renovation and cost half the price of similar lamps we were considering. These lamps look like they are hardwired to the wall, but they aren't! Installation was easy. The spheres are slightly larger than they appear in the photos, but they must be large enough to work with a full size lightbulb. The glass had a few visible imperfections, but we didn't return them because of that (just because of the need for extra light). My main complaint isn't really the fault of the product itself. If you're planning on getting two of these and placing them across from each other, be aware that the power button for one of them is on the wrong side. Since we have them on each side of the bed, it annoys me a bit to reach under the glass bowl to turn them on or off. Aside from that and the fact that glass dusts easily - we love them!
