I'm generally an aeropress person but sometimes the mornings are busy and it's good to just put this jug on the stovetop with milk in the jug on the same stove top (We have a terrible flat stove now, so all the burners are too big for those small pots). Medium to low heat and I go about my work checking the milk, turning it over when warm and the coffee keeps brewing on its own. You can't clean it right away as it's hot but it seems very good to keep. It's not as smooth as an Aeropress (hotter water) but tasty and seems to work with any ground coffee. I never wanted a moka pot because I would be embarrassed to put an acidic liquid like coffee in an aluminum pot and then drink it, which is why finding this stainless steel version was such a pleasant surprise. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys crafting with coffee. The children were also impressed by the method of forcing steam through the coffee to precipitate the coffee, it is interesting as a physical process, it also suddenly became a learning tool.
