The filter appears to be working well after being used for a day. The taste of water is perceived differently: it is "lighter” (complete with filter cartridge D-20A). The problem you may encounter is with the installation. It comes with a 3/8 inch plastic hose that needs to be connected to the cold water line. There are detailed and clear instructions for this. However, my water supply line is 1/2" in diameter. This required additional work under the sink and several visits to the hardware store to get advice from a kitchen fixtures expert, as well as purchasing the necessary hardware to connect the filter tube to my water supply Nowhere in the instructions is this mentioned. I still see a small leak where the filter inlet tube goes into the water line which I need to fix. I also had a leak between the cap and the bottom of the filter housing which seemed to stop, after torquing the bottom very hard (the troubleshooting instructions say "don't overtighten" so I don't know if I did something. bad at the moment!) They provide a tech support number that does I haven't used them yet but I can call them about a leak It does what it's supposed to do once properly installed but watch out to other reviews dealing with installation issues. I wouldn't buy it again if I had the choice.
