I'm happy that I now have stopper socks too - my grandchildren love them. The socks are super cozy and keep your feet nice and warm. The silicone nubs effectively prevent any slipping, even on slippery floors. You have a comfortable "on your socks" feeling and yet you are safe on the road. The stopper socks are made of 70% wool, plus 18% wool, the rest is polyamide and elastane. The socks can go in the washing machine. I find them totally practical and comfortable, I love wearing them! The nubs survive the wash without any problems. At first they "bake" a bit, stick very slightly, but really only a touch and give up after about an hour of wearing. I find the socks much more practical than sturdy slippers, which constantly slide under my sofa or are suddenly "gone" when I've taken them off in between. The quality is falcon. Unbeatable for everything that has to do with stockings, tights or socks. Bean Ser Happy!
