Review on DecoArt DAPK325B Americana Multi Surface Essentials by Nicole Mcleod

Bought these to color in the finer details in my nail decals which they are great for but the shade of purple you see in the ad is NOT the shade . purple you get. (-☆) What I got was a twig of white paint with purple oil (I guess it's paint) floating on it. There isn't a problem that a little mixing won't solve. After blending well, I was left with a pale lavender shade. Not the purple I expected. This forces me to use red and blue to constantly make my own deeper purple, or to go out and spend money on a much larger bottle of purple than I need. I was incredibly disappointed in Lila. (-☆) Another problem I had was that the amount of paint in the pot was not constant. Some of the pots were almost filled to the brim with paint while others were about 1/2 empty. This was even after I scraped the tops of the pots to collect as much paint as possible. Otherwise I can not complain about anything. It resists quick-drying layers of nail polish and does not flake off when drying. It's quite flexible and won't tear when I bend the painted nail stickers.
