I installed this on my 2009 Silverado 1500 to control the Firestone airbags. I would go for airbags but they don't make a system compatible with the B&W 1/2 ton swing hitch like the Firestone does. I just installed this kit yesterday, installation required a little modification. The instructions say not to put the supercharger under the hood but there is a perfect spot for the extra battery on the driver's side so I installed it there, there might be a heat issue but I don't think I will Stress it often enough to be concerned and it will be better protected from water and dirt. The instructions state that the ignition fuse should be connected to the power supply. On my Silverado, the ignition fuse is under the hood, so I re-energized the firewall at the fuse box. I'm also not sure how they expect you to connect the power and air hose to the side hole on the gauge cap. I ended up drilling a hole in the back of the cap so I could insert the air hose directly into the hole. return. Everything works fine except for a slow leak in the low pressure switch fitting. I have emailed the company and am hoping for a reply soon.
