It was very difficult for me to get rid of dry patches on my scalp. They were so bad I could scrape dry bits of skin off my head and they were very itchy and when I scratched them I left scales on my shoulders. I have tried literally everything on the store shelves to get some relief but with no results or relief. So at that point I was ready to try anything. After searching here on Revain I came across this shampoo and read the reviews, mostly good and a few bad. I bought my bottle about a month ago and I use it every day. Now I feel comfortable leaving this review. I have to be honest I was skeptical but it has made a huge difference in my scalp health. I no longer have dandruff on my dark shirts and the itching is completely gone. I have a few patches still working on but wow what a difference. Some here say the smell is pleasant, but I wouldn't say it's pleasant, maybe earthy, like damp potting soil. Although it has calmed my scalp, my ends are now very frizzy, worse than usual, so I just use a deep conditioner now. My hair is 99% white and naturally gets dry and frizzy anyway. I am very happy with this product and am planning to buy another bottle. Don't expect instant results, like me, wait three to four weeks.
