It's been roughly 2.5 years since I got this camera. Happy with the purchase thus far. An excellent choice for first-time users (such as amateur photographers). The Nikon D3100 has been used extensively and flawlessly without issue over its whole lifespan. The picture clarity is fine. Overall, the value of this model exceeds its asking price. That will be a great resource for those just starting out. Don't think twice about it; just do it! Short and easy to carry. Portability and simplicity of usage are its hallmarks. BONUS! For the best results, amateurs should utilize manual mode (where they control the camera's ISO, aperture, and shutter speed) when taking pictures. You can better adapt to the ever-changing weather by switching to manual mode. In such a scenario, the end result will be stunning. In addition, shooting at fast-moving targets is quite safe while in "sport mode" (children, vehicles, etc.)
