It just didn't work for my application. I wanted this light in my outdoor shed. Installation was very easy and the light was fantastically bright. But there were two problems. The first was that the motion detection is too sensitive. I thought it would be done "optically" (IR motion sensor or something), but I suspect it needs to detect objects in close proximity in some way, including those outside the barn. squirrels on the roof? The light turns on. Does a windy day make the branches of the nearby trees sway? The light turns on. Anyone passing the barn? The light turns on. (I know all this because I have a security camera in my barn). The second problem is that when the light comes on it doesn't stay on for very long - maybe a minute or so? So when I'm working in the barn and I'm not moving much, it gets dark and I have to move a little to turn the light back on or to wait for the squirrel. I sent back the light.
