I can load eight clubs in here for travel on an airplane. I'm old. I don't want to drag around a full bag in an airport. I only use half the clubs I own. If I see a shot that needs a six iron, I'll choke down on a five. I actually bought it as a Sunday Bag for walking in the early morning hours with four clubs only. That is good for my blood pressure and waistline. The nice thing about the bag is that it is tough and holds enough clubs to play serious golf at a course far away from home. I'll use it to fly and play even at the nicest courses. The padded head cover snaps open, so this will actually be playable from a cart. I'm not on the tour, so the money I lose on the course from not having my full set will be small. I don't have to impress anyone anymore with my fancy gear. The pockets are not big, but I can always buy balls at the course we fly to. I guess I'm in the downsizing years. I'll be taking it to Helena, Montana this summer, so if there is a problem, I'll be back. One pocket seems big enough for the strap and the two lambskin sheaths I bought to protect my shoulder when carrying the bag. No one can fly with a loose strap on a bag, so it will have to be removed for flying. It's very cut, and I just don't have time to worry about marshaling a huge bag through an airport. So far I am pleased with this purchase.
