I've been using this for over 3 months now so plenty of time to try it out. The device I received only has one charging option and there is no way to use it without charging. (no on or off switch) The worst part of the design is the USB charging cable. Why do you need all that dust around your computer, keyboard and mouse screens? It's a good starter machine, the speed control works well and I didn't have any problems with the exercises, it's just that it's very short. cable and tied to my hard drive. There is no other way to use it unless you have a portable charger which I don't have. I can't understand why all the other reviewers are so happy with it and no one mentions the cable. Have I been scammed or did you get a bonus? I hope that after 3 months they switched to wired options and don't like all the dust around my computer system that I use for work.
