I have had a Garmin Tactix watch (the tactical version of the Fenix line) for many years. Everyone. Single. Year. (feeling frustrated?) I bought and replaced the bracelet because the bracelet ring breaks every 11-12 months. Lots of people have the same problem, and I've read several complaints from like-minded people who say they've owned Casio and Timex watches (much cheaper) for years without this problem. As a result, my expensive watch received an additional $40. A 50 year increase in cost because the only way I knew of was to buy a new tape. Simply because the O-ring broke. I could have used cheaper third party straps but I really like the Garmin strap and many other strap reviews say the latch breaks even faster. my teeth and went to buy another new band. Luckily the one I bought the last two times was no longer available. Looking for another seller I found the group and the price went down. but to my surprise this product was offered. This was a surprise because when my buckle ring first broke I was only looking for a clasp but the only option was a full strap replacement kit. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this product available. With one purchase I now have years to replace the single point of failure in my amazing watch. Not only that, I didn't even have to remove the tape to install the mounting ring. I haven't mounted my rings in a very long time, but these mounting rings seem to be of high quality. They are thick, durable, flexible, with OEM texture and perfectly shaped to fit my strap's grooves and holes. I would highly recommend this product to my fellow Garmin Fenix/Tactix owners who are frustrated with a broken buckle!
