This is such a cute little jacket. I ordered this for my almost 5 year old who mainly wears size 5 clothes and some size 6. We tried size 6-8 and it fits although I thought I had enough room for it to grow. He may be a bit tall for his age, but that's not uncommon. Not sure if he wants to wear this adorable jacket when he is 8 years old. The jacket is fluffy on the outside but I was a bit surprised by the silky polyester lining on the inside of the jacket. It's very easy to put on, but it's not the warmest option for the cold season. The hood is true to size and doesn't hang over the eyes, but covers the head well. All in all a very good choice for a cozy and fun jacket.
