Device turns on immediately and recognizes my VIN. A "quick" scan takes about 10 minutes. It took me a while to learn this, but when I go into the menu I can quickly see individual codes and/or clear the check engine light. Navigating through these menus is not intuitive at all. Some functions require you to press F1-F3, others require you to press the back arrow. It's just very strange. Many other functions I think they are.
