I bought this product to replace an old one that just seemed to be drying out my hair. Even with thermal protectant, it seemed like my hair always looked dry and frizzy. I have never experienced anything like this with this hair dryer. The attachments that come with this dryer plug in and even after I turn the dryer on they stay connected even at high power. The diffuser is my favorite. It actually brings out my naturally wavy, curly hair much better than just letting it dry. The comb helped me detangle my hair. I photographed the flat piece from the inside to show how much it actually expands. I've seen some that appear wide, but when you look inside they're just open in the middle. I've found that not only does it help to dry more evenly, it also dries a larger area. This hair dryer is not only light but also makes my hair elastic and shiny. For me the color is a bonus.
