Very easy to set up and get started. Looks damn cool and works reliably. Actually, watch out for those of you who want a turntable that doesn't require a lot of other components: you can pull out the headphones on that unit and plug them into the aux-in jack of another device (a desktop boombox maybe?). ; So you can easily triple the power of the speakers. If you're using the built-in speakers, just don't turn them up too loud. It's a pretty good player at lower volumes, but I like the music a little louder and the louder notes get distorted. This is a great turntable if you're looking for a minimum of fuss and money to get a decent turntable to listen to records you haven't heard in ages. This is not for audiophiles or even young enthusiasts.
