So far they work fine. Living in an environment where my machines ran 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for three days and then barely ran for a week and then ran heavily again, they did reasonably well. I had to shorten them a bit as they were too long. I have no problems and they work just as well as my signature filter. Update: I installed new filters on 01/20/2020. It's been 8 days, 3 of which have rained heavily, so my humidifiers haven't worked. Both filters turned orange-pink, one even had black dots. They stop drinking water for 24 hours. I have to rotate them at least every 12 when filling up the tanks, but I should probably be doing it every 6 hours. If my device had an "always on" feature, I guess I wouldn't have to worry so much about filters. My last car (predecessor to this one) was always on and the filters lasted a month. It's probably just my car, but be careful anyway.
