Ideal for storage in a closet, but the material is a bit fragile. The sides are very thin and look more like backing material than actual fabric. In the upper compartments I put three pairs of standard women's slippers, in the lower "drawers" purses and bags. I stow leggings in the middle compartments. There is plenty of room in all compartments, but mine is only half full with fairly light items and sags badly. I need to put a box on the floor under this hanger to support it. The lower drawers are collapsible and removable, so they can easily become additional open compartments if desired. I kept it because I wanted a gray one and it wasn't bad for the price but I think for a few bucks more I should have gone to The Container Store or Target.
