This mic arm might work for some but not all. The clip isn't deep enough to grip sharp office furniture like mine. A very mechanical relative diligently tried to set it up for me and tried every possible way to attach it to my computer desk. After about 45 minutes he was able to hook it up to my desk (in a very awkward position) only to be frustrated when it couldn't support the weight of my Turtle Beach Stream mic. Keep in mind that this would probably work if we could mount the clamp on the table the way it's meant to be mounted. As I mentioned above, it's been clumsily assembled in a way that belies the strength and rigidity this mic stand is likely to have when properly set up. In the end I sent the item back.
