We tested this unit on several classic cars in the shop and were particularly impressed with the consistent and fast results. The external sensor is a great feature as it allows customers to hold the device while I demonstrate differences in paint thickness on their cars. However, if you are interested in classic cars, this is a fantastic tool. My buddy went to an electroplating shop (zinc, chrome, nickel and other industrial coatings) and said it was better than what they use at home. .All of this says a five star rating from us and I highly recommend it.
