I’m pretty impressed with this scooter. It feels solid, and like it should handle the abuse that is to be expected from a toy belonging to a child in this age range. The wheels are fairly large for a scooter, and a little bit rubbery, giving it pretty good traction. You can also lock the front two wheels for extra stability, and then unlock them when your child is ready for a little bit more maneuverability. The light up wheels are a fun touch and from what I can tell, operate from the Energy generated by the wheels turning. I also really like that the handle comes off and can be stored on the bottom of the scooter making it quite small and easy to store just about anywhere. Having two wheels in the front gives it extra stability for younger children, and the handle bar adjusts low enough for just about any child that is old enough to want to ride it to reach. It says it can hold up to 110 pounds so there’s really no fear of my daughter outgrowing it before she gets tired of it and moves on to something else. The actual deck that you stand on feels a little bit flimsy to me, but the rest of the scooter feels very well-made and like it should hold up well. There are definitely ours an hours of fun to be had with this! I would recommend it. 👍🏻
