Great mitt, bad wrist strap

My car has been washed about 50 times with these gloves on since I bought them less than 1.5 years ago. The microfiber worked well and kept my paint from swirling. However, after about a year of use, the rubber strap on the wrist began to loosen. Very relaxed now. When submerged in a bucket, these gloves will hold plenty of water. It's hard to handle a water-soaked glove when it's trying to slip off my hand. This happened equally with both mittens. I have a similar mitt that I bought at my local auto parts store a few years ago and the strap is still as snug as ever. I'm going to try the Chemical Guys glove. Hope it lasts longer.
