A very nice quality shampoo that actually did make my hair look better than it deserves to look

OK, having been a freelance writer and photographer most of my life, I've learned to lead a pretty modest life most of the time and that's just fine with me. I love shopping at dollar stores and can't imagine that even if I won the lottery that would change. So the idea of spending big money on a single small bottle of shampoo is not a fantasy I entertain, but given the chance to try it well, it's nice to treat yourself once in a while. Never hurts to pretend you're rich. Also, I have a long ponytail and the idea of washing my hair in French shampoo is kind of fun. The last time that I used French shampoo I was in a hotel in Paris and it came with the room (and yes, I brought some home!). Anyway, this really is a nice shampoo, smells terrific and I tried to used just a tiny amount so that it would last a while. Given the price, however, I don't see me using it again once the bottle is empty, but at least now I know what my hair feels like after getting washed by a gold-standard shampoo. And the truth is, if you can afford high-end personal products, hey, life is short, why not.Using the shampoo did stir memories of a great week spent in Paris. Alexa, play me some Edith Piaf music.

Pros
  • The shampoo improves the elasticity of the hair by nourishing and protecting the scalp
Cons
  • May not provide enough moisture for very dry hair
