Yes I measured but on a curved step I was afraid it would bend or look stupid. You looked great. The brown color also helps hide the dirt trapped inside. We went from just 2 steps to 3 steps, a great help in keeping track of the debris in the camper itself and no complaints of hot feet in the sun. One thing we noticed is that the springs holding it are very strong and a bit difficult to detach. You actually had to get on all fours to unhook her. This can of course be good, but it can also be bad, I think one of our springs was stretched to push it out. MFG recommends including 2 spare springs (in case of loss or overuse). )
