Review on Set of 2 Brown HomePop Parsons Classic Upholstered Accent Dining Chairs by Tony Korek

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Basically only for "Appearance ".

I bought these two chairs to replace two very hard wooden ladder chairs that were used with my dining table. I was delighted to find these chairs - with such high reviews - at a price that wouldn't break me. The previous wooden chairs were not comfortable to sit on for long. Almost as I was eating, my tailbone and back started to hurt. These new chairs are good. Very easy to assemble. Seems very strong. However, neither chair is "level" and both will rock on the floor as you rock back and forth on the chair. I am 5ft 9in and 180lbs. Not a very tall person. When I sit in these chairs, my hips can "feel" the edges of the seat. Tailbone and back did not hurt at the end of the meal, but I don't see myself sitting in it for long, for example, we like to sit at the dining table and play board games, dice, cards, etc. I don't think I sit in this chair for more than an hour can. My elderly mother lives with me - she is 5ft 3" and weighs 150lbs and she says these chairs fit her. So I'll take my office chair into the dining room when we play board games. Before buying, I carefully study the dimensions of these chairs. So I don't blame these chairs for being ignorant. I just need to be more aware of how products are presented on Revain and measure multiple times. I think dining chairs are like cushions, cars and everything else: there is no magic product for everyone. When assembling these chairs I felt that these are very sturdy chairs. I still think they're more for "show" than everyday use, but many other reviewers say they love them.
