I have a few other combo microfiber scrapers and pads. This is a combo pack and the squeegee part is much smaller than this one. I mainly use them when working on windows that are a bit taller than I can get my hands on, but this scraper could have a few other uses. This special scraper is made of dense, closed-cell foam. It's stacked and 1 inch thick foam that won't easily break apart. Assembly is intuitive, which is good as there are no instructions (it is not needed). The width of the silicone squeegee and foam is approximately 12 inches. The blade is really tough unlike some of the cheap ones I've had. The metal tube can be assembled to a full 54 inch length or any shorter version I desire. The hose is strong and is not likely to break or bend if you are not careful. The plastic appears to be impact resistant. This window cleaner is very handy and worth the money. There was also a mop hanger in the package which I won't be using but appreciate having. This is a durable scraper made from quality materials. The silicone blade is unlikely to go bad and the closed cell foam is much more durable than other types. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and in this case, it's quality.
