As a preschool teacher, I use a lot of magnet tiles in my classroom. The students love to play with them and have no idea how much they are learning while working with them. 2 triangles make a square/rectangle, etc. The set comes in a strong container that has a handle and snap lock. The set is on the heavier side. The non-magnet pieces to make up the ferris wheel add another dimension of engineering for children. The pieces are more curved on the edges which is a wonderful feature from a safety perspective. The pieces have survived many drops off the table. This also contains non-magnetic pieces to got into the magnetic pieces. This is the first set I've encountered with magnetic hexagons.
