If you live on a farm like me and constantly walk through dirt mixed with animal hair, this vacuum cleaner is NOT for you. "Deep" cleaning does not. What it does, and quite well, thanks, is it cleans up crumbs and mundane things. I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of stuff it collects, but it's definitely not going to replace your full-size vacuum unless you live in a pet-free town. The biggest disappointment for me was that after reading how well he handled walls, edges and corners, I can't say he did his job with a bang. It's very good at navigating, however, and I'm surprised at how many things it can overcome, say, from carpet to hardwood floors. None of this is really a problem. Basically I bought it as an experiment as the price was right and I can definitely use it again but for me it will never replace a more powerful vacuum. I'm curious how long this lasts (was for 3 days). Whether I would buy another one under my circumstances is an open question, but I tend to say no.
