Bought this inexpensive and cute USB stick for limited transfer of various files between PCs. Unfortunately I didn't test it when I first received it. It sat in a box in a drawer for a few months. When I tried to use it for the first time, it died after I transferred a few small files (less than 2 gigabytes) to it. When writing files to it, my computer stopped recognizing the USB drive. Disconnecting and reconnecting shows the USB drive is grayed out in My Computer, but when I click on it, Windows prompts me to connect the USB drive. [Basically this means that Windows recognizes the presence of a physical device but cannot read anything from it to know what to do with it]. Trying on another PC gives the same results. Other USB drives continue to function normally. I am currently unable to receive a refund as I have waited too long for verification. Will not use this seller or product again.
