The clasp is very well made. A little heavy but not in a bad way, feels sturdy for years to come. I'm 6ft 3in, 233cm, waist 34, fits but has a bit more. Being a weightlifter, my waist expands and shrinks rapidly over time, so this is perfect. You can cut it to make it prettier, but because of the machine you're cutting out a piece of mechanics. But it's courteous enough if you can add your own leather strap for durability. A very well made product. I can only warmly recommend the purchase.

- When the belts get old, the leather tears!!! I know because I have two belts with cracked leather!!!
