Bought a set of white caps so cannot comment on the black caps. The TLDR is that I would give them an A for looks but a D for the feel - read on for details. Made from ABS plastic, not PBT. This will be the deciding factor for some people and it would be nice to see this in the description. ABS plastic is not as oil resistant as PBT and tends to take on a glossy look and feel after some use. On the plus side, they look exactly like the picture so you know what you're getting into visually. a way. I was concerned that the transparent parts might have some defects or stains, but I didn't notice anything on the set I received. Something that may not be immediately apparent from the photos is that the lettering is very clear. They look very sharp from all angles. It's worth noting that the surface area for your fingers at the top of each cap is slightly smaller than what I consider the standard size. Not much less, but a bit noticeable in direct comparison. It didn't affect my typing, but it's worth considering. Unfortunately they have a few fit and finish issues that make them a lot less usable than most other caps I've used. The key surfaces themselves are quite smooth. However, the lettering on some keys had fairly rough (scratched) edges, which was very annoying when putting your finger on them. There was no such problem with other keys; It seemed pretty random, but I'd say around 15-20% of them were a problem. This may not be a distraction for some, but for me this alone was enough to make me decide not to use it. Another issue I've noticed is that they don't seem to fit into the derailleur stems as far as most other wrenches. caps, causing them to wobble a bit both at rest and when depressed. It almost felt like there was a small pad at the end of the key press that needed to be pushed through based on what part of the key I was pressing and at what angle it was being pressed. The keystrokes just didn't feel as firm as the various caps I've used in the past, and it definitely detracted from typing comfort and accuracy. It would probably be enough for me not to use them. Needless to say, I'm pretty picky about things like this and it might not bother others, but I'd like to know. before you buy them.
