Right to the point.1. These are an okay material. Not super nice like hayabusa, but they "will do" as an extra pair, especially if you train multiple times a day2. I'm 5'9" 162lbs and I ordered a medium. It fits somewhat on the larger side, but not too bad, bc it has a drawstring right (wrong!).3. There is a drawstring (here is the reason for the 3 stars). The drawstring is designed in a way that doesn't tighten the front area of the shorts. What happens is your drawstring will be tight to your waste (great), but there will be a gap in the front of the shorts where the Velcro connects. When you look down, you will see down into your shorts.Some may say that means that your shorts are too big, but that's not true. A good pair of hayabusa shorts won't have this issue. Once you knot the drawstring, it tightens the entire waste.These only tighten the area not covered by the 4 inches of horizontal velcro.I won't buy another pair of these for this reason. However, if I bought a size down (S), then maybe I wouldn't have the issue, hence the 3 star instead of 2. I hope this helps.
