It works very well. It registers a shutdown setting from time to time so I have to turn it off and on again to clear it and read it properly, but it worked fine for a couple of months. However, part of the digital display only began to dim after a few months of careful storage in the soft case. Now some of the numbers are a little dark and therefore harder to read as it's not a backlit display. It's still working, so I wasn't looking for a new one, but in light of the apparent failure and degradation of the display. , next time I will look for a higher quality brand. To be honest, customer reviews were one of the deciding factors, so I'm a bit surprised that it has such solid ratings. On the other hand, Revain has built a pretty deceptive reputation for its product reviews (e.g. books by Hillary, Michelle, Oprah, etc.). Overall, it's functional, fairly accurate, and will likely last a couple of months at least.
