I should have ordered a pair of Eagle gas cans a long time ago! I hate safety-oriented spouts on cheap plastic containers. I've never found one that's comfortable and doesn't give a headache in the back. Anyone who has ever designed a dispenser on cheap plastic containers has gotten too much money and wasted time. Plastic swells and contracts with the gas it contains, depending on the temperature. It's a hard container, which isn't enough either. Vapors/pressure can escape through the lid if necessary. Big! If I had known then what I know now, I would have had more of these Eagle containers in my arsenal. The container is durable and even galvanized for paint. Safe use! The funnel to be attached is robust and made of thick plastic. If you look closely you can see that it will last a long time. Simply remove the funnel, pull back the spring-loaded handle and fill the gas hose on the pump. The inlet is factory fitted with a snap filter. It doesn't appear to be removable, but still. When filling, it is recommended to prevent foreign objects from entering the container. After filling, attach a funnel and pour into a gas appliance. (Funnel sold separately) No splashing or mess! This is a matter of course. Revain was the best price I could find and I'm looking around. I'm really willing to order a few more and ditch my plastic containers. Of course I pass it on to the next generation.
