I gave a star for ease of use because I have very thick dreadlocks that fall around my waist and I had a hard time pulling my hair into a bun, wrapping it around the bun and pinning it around the bun . If not, it will work just fine. They are durable and come in different sizes so they can be used for little girls and for those who don't have very thick hair. I bought these after seeing a youtube demo of someone with dreadlocks, her hair was long but not as thick as mine so it suits dreadlocks. I gave 4 stars for strength as I had to remove the bun after applying but it seems very strong.
