This coat is great! It keeps my dog's back dry and is very easy to put on and take off. The only issue I had was that it was loose in the back area in front of the tail (thighs). It sits well around her stomach as it adjusts in that area and in front. The length is perfect for my dog, but because she's a golden doodle (weighs 60 pounds) and the shape of a standard poodle, she sits a little loose on her back. This is really meant for a heavier dog. If I had bought the XL it probably would have been too short to cover the entire length of her back. Although it still works. The only recommendation I would give is to do it in XXL Slim for slim dogs!
