This is my first time using an inflatable hooded dryer. I tried the flexirod kit and used it to dry my freshly styled hair after the shower. Personally it took me 2 hours to dry in this hood dryer on medium heat/medium speed (I have a Deva blow dryer). How I did it I tried drying in a hood dryer for an hour and sleeping on it, probably 6 hours to air dry the poles. It was still wet so I went through the second hour and it was a bit dry but not quite. I removed the flexirods and had to diffuse at the end. Does it work in general? I would say yes, but it takes a long time to dry. Maybe it would work better if my hair wasn't wet. Be prepared to have enough time to wash and care when using this product. A lot of work and patience, but I still got good results in the end.
