Review on Dyson Internal Hose Assembly DY 920682 01 by Jennifer Collins

Well, the unusually thin, delicate and small red clip at the end of the hose has broken off (shockingly) and there's no way to replace that special red plastic cap because it's glued to the hose by the manufacturer (listen, Dyson!) . First time ever a vacuum repairer was here and it took me about an hour to disassemble, replace and reassemble this part (and with a toddler constantly trying to 'help' with the repair). There are no instructions for this replacement part, but thanks to the modern internet there are some decent (okay, they suck, but what do you want for free) videos showing you the process. Here's the one I used:[.]Be sure to put the white plastic gear connecting the rear wheels back in the correct orientation when you put everything back together or your Dyson will not mount properly. Believe me. This part had 1 job and since the vacuum cleaner sucks like a champion again, I give it 5 stars.
